How does your business coaching work?

My business coaching is tailored to you and your business.
Before we begin, you’ll complete an onboarding questionnaire to share your challenges and goals – this sets the focus for our sessions.
I shape each session around your objectives, using tools from my Simplified Sales Methodology. Whether we’re building a plan, tackling a specific challenge, or developing new skills, you set the pace.
After each session, you’ll receive a summary with key actions, insights, and supporting tools.

Which coaching service should I begin with?

If we haven’t worked together before, you might start with a workshop or a Business Development Review.
The Business Development Review gives you an external perspective on your business – covering time management, mindset, planning, team structure, finances, marketing, operations, and sales.
I deliver any future work in a coaching format. Together, we set clear goals, define actions, and remove the hidden blocks holding you back – so you can take focused, simplified action.

How do we start working together?

Before we start working together, I will send you an onboarding questionnaire to gather the background information about you, your challenges and aspirations. Please complete this 48 hours before our first meeting.

Why should I work with Louise Pengilley?

With over 30 years of hands-on experience across sales, marketing, and business development, I understand what it takes to make strategies work in the real world. I’ve built processes from the ground up, led high-performing teams, and ensured that sales and marketing efforts are joined up, focused, and deliver results.

Many business owners struggle to connect their marketing with actual sales. I’ll support you to bridge that gap and turn activity into income. Alongside this, I’ll teach you to manage your time more effectively, implementing simple systems to reduce duplication, whilst building confidence in your sales approach. How long do your coaching packages take?

This depends on your current situation and what you want to achieve. However, history tells me that seeing the best results takes a minimum of six months of coaching.

What is the investment?

My 121 coaching is based on a time-related basis; investment starts at £1000 per month. Your total investment will depend on the size of your company, the time I spend with you each month, and your chosen package.

Do you specialise in a particular sector?

I primarily support service-based business owners working in fast-paced, competitive environments that demand a reactive approach. They may also struggle to differentiate themselves. My clients – including directors and managers in established firms, accountants, financial advisers, lawyers, agency owners, marketing coaches, and consultants – face constant client demands while juggling family responsibilities and relying on third parties to complete their work. This combination can lead to bottlenecks, overwhelm, and a lack of control.

Because my work follows a proven methodology, it doesn’t matter what industry you are in. I help clients cut through the chaos with structured accountability and tailored support, enabling them to achieve greater control, consistent progress, and visible business growth.

Can we have our meetings in-person?

Yes absolutely!  If you’d prefer to meet in person, just let me know.  Please note that my standard rates are based on Zoom meetings. This means in-person meetings will incur a higher fee.

What about confidentiality?

To maximise the value of my experience, I will review your client list and financial data with you. I offer you a full guarantee of confidentiality and am happy to sign an NDA if required.

What’s the difference between coaching, mentoring, and consulting?

Coaching helps you find your own answers, mentoring draws on my experience to guide you, and consulting offers direct input and strategic advice. My work combines all three, and I adapt my approach based on what you need most at the time.

What’s the first step to getting started?

Do you offer group coaching or workshops?

Yes – I run regular workshops and offer a membership programme focused on accountability, implementation and sales growth. These can be a great complement to 1:1 support or a more accessible starting point.
